    is there a practical limit to the number of classes your MMO version can have? Like, can it have the current 4 TL2 classes PLUS the 3 TL1 classes?

    Are mods going to be server-side (did I say that right)?

    We will first put the focus on the berserker class, then we can add more over time. Regarding mods, you will be able to modify the client UI and models. All the logics running server-side so you can't modify collisions, pathfinding, damage, etc.

    I thought up a couple of suggestions for things that people might like:

    1. The obvious one: A Ladder system.
    2. Some sort of Server-Wide Achievement system, where all the players can contribute to a specific goal - possibly to force activation of a new mod or something once it is updated to imitate server events.

    Could you elaborate on a ladder system. We're already planning on server-wide achievements, but haven't discussed it in details yet. Thanks for the suggestions. You may have noticed that our logo includes the name you suggested.

    For the ladder system, just something similar to the old Diablo 2 Battle.Net: Rankings of characters by level, separated by class - possibly even the ability to rank them by stats as well.

    For Server-Wide achievements I was thinking just some goals the player-base on a server could unlock together, possibly to spawn server events.

    A example of server events would be one day a mod is implemented that sets a town under attack by monsters, with a major boss that the people of the server have to band together to kill. Once the boss is killed it could unlock an achievement that changes the town so it's not under attack any more, but instead is under repairs - basically creating the aftermath. The idea is that you could use mods and some kind of unlock system to create history and give players an effect on the on-going story.
