An update for everyone: I've installed a little plugin that will let me log in as you so I can see if I can duplicate your problems removing files. If you have anything you'd like me to remove, this would be a good time so I can use it for a test.

Did you login to my account today? My mod apparently has 3 files from the summary in the
pre-guts list and was last updated today. When I clicked on it, theres only 2 files displayed.

Yeah, myself and the programmer who made our database (yay for paid support requests!) have been testing a few of your accounts by logging in as you and uploading additional files, then trying to delete them. Unfortunately, I don't think we are having much luck reproducing anything, because I was able to delete files normally when logging as people from here.

Don't worry, this log in thing has nothing to do with your passwords, it's just a mask over our own accounts to see what is available with your individual permissions and settings.

Ok, who wants to be a guinea pig to help get this thing fixed? We're going to put in a script that should display some information to whoever has the problem when deleting files. We need to choose a person (or people) who are having the problem regularly to be our test subject :P

@Grimfist @Aeydon or @Vortaka - Any chance any of you would like to be my guinea pig?

Woohoo! Thank you @Grimfist ! I'll let our support person (DBTechDylan1 or DBTechDylan2 - I gave him two usernames for testing purposes) will leave you directions here or via PM on what to do next.

    Re: Deleting/Editing uploads

The problem seems to be solved now, I was just able to delete files from my uploads after DBTechDylan1's fixes.

    Re: Deleting/Editing uploads

Yeah, thanks to your help we were able to discover the problem: Up until a certain date several users' files were being given a 0 for the user id, meaning no one "owned" them and had privileges to remove them. Hopefully all is well now!

...now to find out why the editor spits out HTML for some people and doesn't create a link to the comments thread
