    New Team Member Aboard!

This is the comments thread for a news post. You can view it in its original form by clicking here!

    *********

    Ahoy, me mateys!
Wait, who am I? What am I doing here? When did I get here?
It's only natural to be curious as to where this new guy came from... well before we jump into my introduction, here's an interesting video I just put together, showcasing the "Phase Beast Challenge" in Torchlight 2, just to get you excited and make this boring post look a bit cooler than it actually is!

Once you're done smash that continue reading link to move onto my introduction!

Some of you avid Torchlight fans out there might already know me due to a previous project of mine, a website called Torchlight Universe. Long story short, I had a Torchlight fansite, just like RGF here, but in a short period of time I found myself in a situation I was highly hoping not to get into. My site wasn't active (e.g. barely any comments from visitors) and wasn't getting anywhere near the attention rate I initially expected. But there was this little behind-the-scenes secret you guys didn't know about... when I started Torchlight Universe I got in contact with Webbstre, RGF's founder, and he right away offered me a spot here, after seeing my own humble little site. Well I ignored that offer in hope of being able to progress on my own for once (I've worked on a slew of other websites but always in a team with other people)... and if you actually read this paragraph - sadly, that did not go as planned.

Well, here I am today. After a good few months of struggling with Torchlight Universe, I dropped that project and hopped right onto Runic Games Fansite! Now you might be wondering, what's my role here? That's simple - my main purpose is to supply you with information and of course improve the quality of this amazing fansite.

Now I wouldn't want to spoil everything and give out details on the projects I have in mind for RGF, but I can at least give in on my current project. Right now, aside from playing Torchlight 2 and making videos of it, my goal is to create an interactive SKILL CALCULATOR for you guys. Further details of functions and etc. will be available once I've made some more progress, so stay tuned if you're interested in that!

For closure, I'd like to shamelessly advertise my YouTube channel - I am starting a Torchlight 2 Let's Play (that's a series of videos of me talking whilst playing) tomorrow! My plan is to cover everything up until the end of Act 2 before September 20th (the official launch date) and make a quick stop there. Out of care for your pleasure of playing this amazing game, I wouldn't want to completely spoil the game's plot to anyone. That said, however, as soon as the game launches I'll continue my Let's Play onwards through Act 3 and 4!

That's all for now, I guess. Love you all!

I am happy too. Both sites looked good, though the loading times were better at TL Universe. Wish you guys good luck and hope that your combined work will make the site even more awesome.
